I've been in the pet industry for 10 years but I have always wanted to change the perception of pet shops so I knew I'd have to own one to make a difference. Pet stores are the front line for pet owners. It's where everyone wants advice on feeding, health care, grooming, behaviour, etc. With the right advice, we can help people to do the best thing for their pets.

I've had all sorts of animals growing up, especially ones needing a new home. I have cared for/fostered dogs (dachshund, english springer spaniel, labrador, ridgeback x labrador, rottweiler, curly coated retriever, mini poodle, english pointer, staffy, brittany), cats, fish, geckoes, birds, rats, mice, hermit crabs .....

I think animals bring so much joy to people's lives and I love being a part of helping everyone to experience it.

I have a Cert IV Dog Behavioural Training (Delta Society Australia), Bachelor of Arts (Japanese & Geography) and Bachelor of Science (Ecology).

I have worked at various pet shops in Brisbane over the last 10 years, had my own dog training business for 5 years and was a volunteer at RSPCA for several years.

I might be young but I am very knowledgeable and mature for my age. I’ve been in the pet industry for a little over 3 years but most of my experience has happened at home with all the animals I have cared for over the years. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats and a blue-tongue lizard. I’ve even hand-reared lots of kittens, puppies and birds. I currently care for a spoodle, Jaffa, 2 cats and fish. I am now also the proud new owner of 2 beautiful, Anglo-Arab.horses, Reg and Little Man.
